Thanks guys. We will see if it sells or not. I'm not expecting too much in this economy though.

I love the shot of the top off and the windshield down, looks way cool.

One thing that may help you with the sale is larger pics in the auction. I went to enlarge them and they were still small.

Good luck with the sale, if money grew on my trees the 45 would be in my garage right now. Darn fertilizer :(

I appreciate the tip on the pics. I noticed that too. I even opted for the super sized picture package. Do you know if you can resize them after they are posted? Any E-bayer's here?

I don't mind at all. I'm selling to fund possibly a new trailer (Clamshell type) to make camping with an infant easier, or a 100 series for the princess, so I can get my 80 back.

Honestly, I don't want to sell it. I love looking over at my son (9 y.o.) and seeing the giant grin on his face and the wild hair from the wind as we blast down the road on our way to get a milk shake. Smiling and nodding at each other the whole way. When I bought it, it was just my son and I. Since then we've added two to our little clan.

At the end of the day, it's just another vehicle and as you know, you've got to take care of the family first.

Who knows. Maybe I'll start collecting more parts for that father/son Brute build and I can sit in the passenger seat and smile at him while we blast down the road. :rally_guys:

Could you please post a price as per the expo guidelines :)

Here are the rules for posting something for sale on Expedition Portal

1. Must be expedition related, or equipment used in support of an expedition or adventure. For example, the advertising on land for sale would not be appropriate, but a kayak would be.
2. Must include the physical location of the item, i.e- Prescott, Arizona, USA
3. Must include a complete description of the item, including the asking price
4. Must include any known defects or concerns on the items (this is a critical point, as you are selling an item to someone who will likely use it in a remote location, and their safety may depend on it)
5. Negotiations and personal information should be exchanged via email or PM, not in the thread.
6. Please remove or update the thread after it has sold.

If only the timing wasn't better, we would be discussing price. We are in the process of selling our house so we can move to the Reno area... Our goal is to move out west so we can spend more time doing the things we enjoy, like exploring the backcountry. That would be the perfect machine:smiley_drive:

Good Luck with your sale!

Dennis

If you still have it in a few months and if the house sells and if things work out on this end and if we get a house bought and if... just too many if's for me to make an offer at this time, but if...

Sorry Pasquale. I didn't mean to be a rule breaker. I've never noticed a price being requested on any E-Bay link before. That's why I left it a link only to the auction. I'll delete it until the auction ends.

Good luck with the sale of your house. Reno has a lot to offer in terms of adventure and activities. It's seems to be close to everything, but just far away from enough (Just remember to stay out of the Casino's as our state wasn't built on winner's).

I enjoy our town and most of the various events that are held here. Everything from "Artown" to the vintage Air races, Balloon races, Reno Rodeo, Hot August Nites (Classic Car show) SCI and not to mention living in between the Sierra's and The Great Basin.

Let me know when and if your coming out to "Scout" things out and I'd be more than willing to show you around and give you the heads up an various parts of town.

No problem there, me and the wife don't enjoy gambling, but may have to take a temp job in one until things get settled... this is if people are still wasting their money.

I strongly recommend having some sort of employment before moving out here if possible. NV is close to double digit unemployment right now. A friend of mine is a manager at the local Red Wing Boot store. She had over 90 applicants (Everything from people with their Master's to their GED's) apply for a $9.50 per hour job.

How did the auction for this go? I checked with a few hours left and there weren't any bids, but that doesn't mean anything. Did you sell it, and if not how much are you asking now?

No bids on the auction. I still have it and am not actively trying to sell it anymore. There are supposedly two people interested, but you know how it goes.
