WOW! It looks really well made. $50,000 to $55,000 though!

In the previous threads on this I posted that I just don’t get that layout. I guess it makes a little more sense now that I see how the seats fold down into a bed, but still…

OTR seating, with seat belts, for 7
Sleeping for 4? Maybe 6…
Dinette seating for 5
No kitchen (just refer and sink)
No storage, unless you put everything on that top bunk during the day and somewhere else during the night?

Just seems to me if you are taking that many people along, you need a bigger vehicle.

On the previous thread (http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10839&highlight=seating) it was apparently listed at $40K.

It's appreciating rapidly.

Looks like the attached camper pretty much kills the departure angle- even more so with that flimsy looking step hanging off the bottom of it at the rear. I suppose it might be the right rig for someone though... I sure wouldn't want to get caught in a windstorm in that thing!

it's a cool concept, and it looks well made, but honestly, it was executed horribly. no storage, bad departure angle as well as other points listed above would make me stay away.

And then there's the minor matter of getting it approved by EPA and DOT in USA. Outback Imports is "north of the border."
