Truck runs great, transmission is strong, leaks from oil pan, rear main seal, and oil cooler lines.

It needs a new battery, steering box, and cam shaft position sensor, it will also need tires in 20k. Would drive across country after addressing the camshaft position sensor and battery without hesitation. Here (http://flickr.com/photos/sinuhexavier/sets/72157605185647809/show/) is the last big trip I did, 7 days of which were solo with hundreds of miles off road. 1.0 never left me stranded or even came close... Well there was that lame rotoflex issue once, but that was it.

Both rear quarter panels are crushed you can see in photo and hood is dinged ever so slightly on the passenger side all the way in front you can see it in the photo. The paint is in immaculate condition.

Minor rust in usual places, door jams and alpine windows...

***THERE IS NO RACK AND NO REAR DOOR TABLE***

Not going to part it out, unless I don't sell it until Mid-FEb, although I have priced out what I would part it out for if that time comes...

Plesae direct all questions to sinuhe@greendotfilms.com, I am in the midst of a big project and am not hitting boards all that often.

Sinuhe,

Your "Plateau Posse" photos are wonderfully framed and exposed. The photos are quite
evocative of the overland travel experience. Would you be willing to have
a few like this one used on the ExPo home page?

"It needs a new battery, steering box, and cam shaft position sensor..."

Let's budget $150 for the new battery. Can anyone hazard a guess as to the cost of the steering box and cam shaft sensor replacement, if the work is done by a professional mechanic? How about the cost to slow down the oil leaks?

Sorry Truck is located in Los Angeles, CA...

Sure use the image on the home page...

I have moved onto a 1999 White Discovery 1, there is a thread about it somewhere, so I haven't driven this truck since August.

I'd say a safe bet on getting the truck absolutely rocking is $1,000 in mechanics and parts on the high end... And I was going to put the $800 Rovertym bumper before I bought 2.0, which would have covered the crushed rear quarters as well as being the best rear bumper on the market.

Anyone that has seen this truck can attest to how clean it is... Interior photos could be tough as I am in the middle of a big project and won't hav etime until the 24th as I will be traveling.

Thanks!

That would be from the Planet of the Apes. That's the spot where Heston and his pals crash landed.

Some might call it Lake Powell.

Look forward to your new build

I would absolutely like to second the exquisite nature of your photos and appreciate you leaving access for us all on your flickr stream. Your pictures are incredibly vivid and they embody every aspect of the landscape. I also appreciate your philosophy when it comes to artifacts; discovery of cultural or historical gems can be appreciated without having to take it with you

Dam it!:hehe:

Then again, at the rate the water is disappearing out there....it may be called that again soon anyway....
