Singing Praise: Ginni Callahan

I had the opportunity to get private ocean kayaking coaching from a long time "Baja" friend the Saturday before last. We met at John Dey boat ramp just east of Astoria and spent most of the day on the Columbia river.

Ginni Callahan is one of the few people in the US with a BCU 5 classification for ocean kayaking and was a FANTASTIC instructor. By the end of the day, I had a sore body and a full brain! The proof in her skills as an instructor showed this last Saturday when I paddled in my local waters and quickly remembered some of the "wacky / fun" techniques she taught me to improve my paddleing.

Regardless of your skill level (I've waveskied for over 30 years), If you are looking to learn more about ocean kayaking or desire to take a guided trip...I can't sing enough praise about Ginni!

She is base out of the Columbia river in the Summer & Fall and Lorado, Baja Sur in the Winter & Spring.

BTW: She has nothing but TOP SHELF boats & hardware!

Beautiful area to explore!
