Anyone come up with a good dual battery solution for the WJ? I have a couple ideas, but no use re-inventing the wheel.....

sweet, looks like you did a custom tray and hold down in the stock location? and are those just two group 31 optima's?
got any more pics of the install or the fab'd parts?
thanks! looks perfect!

No more pics, it is a custom tray & hold down in the same location with two optimas. Not my setup but one I had saved a pic of so I could replicate it later by going on more than just memory.

V8 I take it?
The rad filler neck is in the opposite location on the 4.0L.

Well I tried to upload a picture but it would not go. I have a dual setup I am getting ready to install in a toyota. It is a universal tray from AMFOR out of Portland,Or. I beleive they have one made for your application but if not use the universal.
I will be using the Odyssey 1200 batteries.

That picture really answered one of my main questions. i thought i might could fit 2 optima's in there. I was hoping that I could just modify the stock tray and then make a custom hold-down. I guess that it will need a complete custom tray though, probably due to heighth of batteries.
