No affiliation of mine, although I have lusted after this truck from afar :) He is just across town from me but thought some of you guys might be interested. I don't know anything about the old Cruisers but I've got a friend who knows quite a bit and am willing to bet he could be persuaded to take a look at it if need be.

Yep, I know the rig. He's the second owner. First owner was a little old man from Okinawa. Seriously! It has a clear ID title. It was imported via Military overseas relocation blah blah blah. I have not seen it in 18 months or so. I'm very surprised he's selling. It was his baby.

I see it from time to time ... and Eric believe me, I was going to ask before I volunteered you to give it a once-over!

If that thing was left-hand drive, it'd be perfect! The regular FJ40 could use a bit more room, and the troopie is just too long. Dang those are sweet!

It has a really cool bench seat that goes all the way across the rear, even over the wheel wells. I think there are 5 sets of sea tbelts in the back seat. Like I said it has been awhile since I've seen it up close. I see him driving it around town all the time, but it always chugging along like the 3Bs do.

that can be converted w/o too much hassle.

Why mess with it? RHD isn't that tough, in fact I prefer it in my Series truck. I'd love having one of these things and this one would be an awesome addition to our garage.
