Just came back from a kayak fishing trip to one of the large sand Islands off the central east coast of Australia (Moreton bay near Brisbane). Went over by my self, caught a 2 hour ferry trip and walked to my camp. No roads on the Island 4X4 tracks only. Took some pickies of the trip, hope you like.

Are we there yet?....just shows you how much crap you can fit on a 12' kayak. :D

What can I say?
Pictures worth a thousand words.
3 days of perfect conditions. No big fish but plenty to keep me occupied

That looks idyllic:suning:

Nice variety of fish you got there. Any of them tasty? Looks like they bit that lead head with the plastic body?

Thanks it is a nice part of the world and sooo close.

All good eating reef type fish, the Parrot is exceptional though up there with Coral Trout.

That was on the bay side, my intentions is to buy a sea kayak so I can paddle around to the ocean side where there are much more reef and bigger and better fishing.
