If my troopy hadn't fallen into my lap....I'd be hard pressed to resist that one. My friend Dave (Co-driver in the FJ45 Mexico Wanderings thread) purchased that rover in Belize with his wife and drove it to up to the states. Our friend (and the only mechanic who touches my Land Cruisers other than myself), Steve just did a full rebuild on it...new wiring harness, rebuilt trans, etc....

A great rig and a cool history! If anyone has additional questions, PM me and I'll put you in touch with Dave and Steve....

Does he want to trade for a expedition ready 80 series? hehehe

How hard is it to find parts for?

Diesel or not? Will it register in CA?

It's a petrol motor...

Andrew...your D90 needs a friend...

Someone buy this thing...BTW...her name is "Lucky"....

Heck...you can drive it back through Flagstaff, Dave and I will take you out and show you around town...you'll likely see a tear from his eye as you drive off in it....

Let's see...
-One of our dream vehicles.
-We've got the cash in our "Toy" account.
-Need to visit friends in PHX anyway.

Wonder if it will be gone before our mandatory 7-day-anti-impulse-buy waiting period is over?

preacherman- you're cruel... very cruel. :D

I've got the past owners' digits, if'n ya'll want to talk turkey...in fact, I just had lunch today with the "importer."

You know though, the 109 PU that I will buy will be restored and nearly perfect truck. I don't mind paying 15-20k for it. I am not good at "restorations" as I like to drive and travel way more then wrench.

I will just wait a few years and get one.

For now, I am just a happy camper with my Disco I.

How is the leg room in this thing? I ask because I am 6'2" and every FJ45 I have been in was kinda cramped. :smiley_drive:
