I found this while hunting for something else. It has potental in the fact that it has an air cooled Duetz motor in it.
No connection...yudia yudia.

Most IVECO's have a lot of potential- as money pits. Parts availability is so-so and prices are rediculous but Deutz is still in the country. The motor alone is worth most of the asking price.

I ever see Iveco in my rear view mirror I immeditaly make evasive maneuver to allow it to pass me.
You know why the front bumper is bent?
Because they have terrible brakes!
Cool body replace the rest especially the brakes. I have 3 times been driving one of those and had the brakes fail. One time I rear ended a truck. One time It blew a wheel seal and caught a front wheel on fire. I didn't know it blew and drove about a half mile down the road with people honking and blowing the horn at me.
I hit the brakes...had none managed to get stopped. Opened the door only to have flames pour in the cab. Jumped out the other side and got a fire extinguisher. :yikes:
Called my boss....HE WAS PISSED!
That I didn't let it burn to the ground!
Yup, parts are tough to come by. Tom's in So. Calif is the only big source for new parts and so parts are priced accordingly. Since old IVECOs don't get repaired, the best bet is to have your 'running' IVECO and a hangar queen for parts. They are very reliable (my is an '86, so a water cooled turbo), just a rare bird this side of the pond.
