As we know, Overlanding is not really a new concept…we could almost say that it has been popular since someone created the first wheel.
Even the pop-top concept seems to have been around for longer that we suspect….
Good proof of that is this extremely rare Ford Camper that was created in the 1930s. It was called the Ford HouseCar and apparently about 6 of them were made every year.
This one is a true collector’s item, having been stored for a very long time and pretty much as original as possible.
I can only imagine all the wonderful places one could have gone in those days.
